This is a good video describing the three techniques for gloving. As surgeons we generally rely on the scrub nurse/tech to help us glove, but sometimes you will have to do it on your own. I have found this video useful for learning the closed gloving technique. If the nurses at your hospital do not use the closed gloving technique, encourage them to — it is the safest and cleanest way of gloving.
